Earlier this year, our CP family grew, and we are so excited! Megan Newman serves as our Conservation Programs Coordinator, working diligently to help landowners through the nitty gritty of the conservation easement process.
Megan received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and French from Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Her desire to continue her education brought her to Virginia (and we are so thankful) where she earned her Masters of the Arts in Anthropology and PhD in American Studies from the College of William and Mary. Having served as the Executive Director and CEO of the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia, the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and Director for the Center of Undergraduate Research at the Virginia Military Institute, the Curator and Registrar at the Stonewall Jackson House Museum, among many other notable roles, Megan brings a broad and excellent skillset to our team.
Megan is personable, accountable, innovative, and organized. We’re certain that if you have the pleasure of meeting her, you’ll enjoy working with her as much as we do. Welcome to the team, Megan! We’re glad you’re here!
