Bridget Braunscheidel, Office Manager

Bridget has just come aboard as Conservation Partners’ office manager. She brings years of experience in project and office management and will be assisting all operations of the organization. Bridget brings a positive attitude and motivation to develop Conservation Partners’ outreach and support growth. We are excited to welcome her to the family!

Q: Where were you born?

A: I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and moved down to Virginia about four years ago with my boyfriend (now husband!) after completing my
masters’ degree in History at the University at Buffalo. We were ready for the next big adventure and fell in love with Virginia and, specifically, the Rockbridge area.

Q: What is your favorite color?

A:  I love the rich tones of Fall, like teal and burnt orange, but I would have to say my favorite color is purple!

Q: Do you have any pets/animals?

A: When we moved down here, we knew our cat Jack needed a friend so we adopted a kitten that he could bond with. We named her Ginny, which is short for Virginia, because we’ll always remember that we got her in Virginia! When we found out we were going to be parents, we knew it was time to get a dog. We wanted our kids to grow up with a fur friend, and our son is doing just that! We rescued a four-month-old puppy and named her Lady!

Q: What interests/hobbies do you have outside of work?

A: I love being outdoors and spending time with my family. We like to go hiking and camping whenever we get a chance. A favorite spot of ours is Spruce Knob in West Virginia or Lake Moomaw. I love that we get to share this love of the outdoors with our son! If I have to spend time indoors, you can usually find me reading or knitting.

Q: What is a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

A: I am ambidextrous!

Q: When did you start at Conservation Partners?

A: I started in August! I was super excited to be able to apply for the position of Office Manager for a conservation office and use my background in history and the use of land! I am beyond excited to be on board with this team at Conservation Partners, and can’t wait to be a part of the future of the company.

Q: What are you most excited about working at Conservation Partners?

A: I am really excited about being a part of a team that is preserving land and making a difference! I also am ready for the responsibilities and challenges I get to take on in this role. I know it will be a continuous learning process getting to know the scope of the field and work but look forward to being able to contribute to Conservation Partners’ overall growth and future!
